We humans are curious about and entranced by the sky. We have made stories and creation myths about the sun, the moon, the stars and constellations visible to us wherever we are. We have conceived human existence in terms of celestial objects and most every organized religion on our planet revolves around these stories.

With the advent of modern digital photography documenting our night sky has become possible for photographers. In this section I have included a few images of the wonders we can see at night if we look up.
